Used for past habits or past states that are no longer true.
Examples:
“I used to live in Jamaica.”
“She used to be shy.”
B. Would
Used for repeated past actions (NOT states).
Examples:
“Every evening, we would walk to the park.”
“When I was young, we would visit my grandmother.”
C. When to use which?
used to = habits + states
would = habits only
